A release date actually getting moved forward?

Can't wait. Civilization has to be my all time favourite game ever since the days when it was just a board game.

"I enjoyed Civ3, but what I have seen of Civ4 makes me think it is aimed at young kids."

I didn't like Civ3, because I thought it had too much dictated complicatedness (as opposed to SMAC, which was complicated but based on a fairly simple rule system).

I also thought that strategy games, the few that still exist, have become too realistic, graphics-wise. I look forward to a game that would look like it was made for young kids.

On a sidenote, I also hope Civ4 makes it to the Mac quickly.

Considering that Intel Macs are coming and that many game developers might target only them, this seems like a potential problem now.
